MOTORCYCLE MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE IN AN EMERGENCY

DSC09325I am making a bold statement that a motorcycle may save your life in an emergency.  Although if you used a pedal bike as an emergency form of transportation over a motorcycle you would not have to worry about the lack of fuel.  A dirt bike or semi-street bike will get you through the roughest of terrain, faster and easier. It would also be easier to carry a passenger with you, especially if that passenger is injured. Although you do need fuel to run a motorcycle, they do not use much fuel and a motor scooter uses even less fuel. A friend of my father worked in the shipyards during WWII, when gasoline was rationed. He had a ration card for his car, but he used the gas in his motorcycle, and he was never short of fuel.

Having a motorcycle seems like a good tool to have during an emergency-disaster type situation. It can go anywhere, it is fast, it is possible to go for help or even to transport an injured person if need be. Motorcycles are also a great source of fun and freedom, but overall a motorcycle may save your life in an emergency so for all these reasons perhaps a good idea to invest in one.
